General Announcements:

• Dr. Bruno Carmeni, visiting from Italy, will be a special guest at the practice at the West Coast Judo Training Center from 1-4 pm on Saturday May 3rd. In addition, we will have our regular drills and conditioning practice on Saturday from 10-11:30. Everyone is welcome, and, as always, the mat fee is $10. All funds raised pay for expenses for our athletes. This year, we have funded athletes to Rhode Island, Las Vegas and Michigan. Our next event is the Judo Forum Summit camp in Carlsbad in June. • Nanka USJF Team Competition Tryouts will be held at end of Parent's Federation Tournament, May 4, 2008 at John Glenn High School. See Parent's Federation Tournament form for entry form and details.
  

• Please be advised that in order to coach at the Parent's Federation tournament on May 4, 2008, you will need to show proof of a current coach's certification from USJA, USJF, or USJI, and fill out the Nanka coach registration form.  For further details, please see attached coach's registration form or contact Greg Fujimoto at (805) 657-4794.
